Barrister, previous career in research & development engineering.
Before he entered the law in 1990, by working for a firm of solicitors, Terence worked in research and development engineering. Today his practice is quite broad and sits within 3 main areas of law; Civil (including Personal Injury), Family and Employment.
Recent examples of work undertaken include: Sale of goods act matters. A milk distribution company instructed him when a breach of contract claim was made against them. He was instructed in a dispute with a kitchen fitting company regarding the quality of the fitting. He has undertaken work concerning the dissolution of partnerships. He also deals with boundary disputes and debt recovery work.
In his Personal Injury practice he deals mainly with RTA Personal Injury claims in the Fast and Multi Track. Sometimes the RTA side of his practice will involve claiming or defending Credit Hire claims. He also undertakes matters concerning accidents at work.
As well as trials he also provides advice on liability and quantum.

Terence deals with most aspects of employment law. He is pleased to advise prior to the issuing of dismissal notices or proceedings. He has experience in the Employment Tribunals, EAT and the High and County Courts. He acts on behalf of both Respondents and Claimants. Areas of work include dealing with claims for unfair, constructive and wrongful dismissal, Sex, Race and Disability discrimination and Redundancy.
