Sean is an experienced and dynamic barrister specialising in substantial commercial work including interlocutory injunctions and Appeals and Applications in the High Court and Court of Appeal. He is equally at home and has a proven record in Criminal cases. He has exceptional communication skills and is highly regarded as a tough litigator whom any clients would want on their side.
Sean served in the South African Defence Force before pursuing a career in law. Before deciding to go to the Bar in South Africa, Sean was an articled clerk in a busy practice in Durban, South Africa.

Sean was called to the English Bar in 2011 (Gray’s Inn) and to the South African Bar in 2004. Sean conducts himself with the highest professional standard and brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience. As a barrister, Sean has rights of audience in England and Wales and is still an Advocate of the High Court of South Africa. Sean sat as an Advisor with His Lordship, Pandya J.– High Court in two Murder Trials (South Africa – WLD) 2007.

Having worked for many years in commercial and construction environments, Sean understands the nature and difficulties of the business world. His knowledge of IT, Forensics, Medical law places him in a unique position when dealing with matters that relate to these fields of knowledge. Sean has repeatedly demonstrated the ability to grasp the essentials of a case quickly, problem-solve and to work within tight time-frames and this has led to him being Counsel of choice in urgent matters.

Sean also, practices in all aspects of family law in relation to both financial and children disputes, including removal from the jurisdiction. He had a large family practice in South Africa before joining a family law chambers in the UK. He has written a practical guide for the legal profession entitled “Selected Family Law Pleadings”.
